Judge backs NLRB poster rule authority

A federal judge upheld the National Labor Relations Board’s pending requirement that employers post notices of employees’ right to unionize in the workplace. But the March 2 ruling in a suit brought by industry groups, such as the National Association of Manufacturers and the National Federation of Independent Business, was a partial victory for the plaintiffs because the judge limited penalties for violations of the rule.
